The 16th Printing South China
Organized by Administration of Press and Publication of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group, China Foreign Trade Centre and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, the largest printing expo in South China - The 16th Printing South China will be staged from March 3 - 6, 2009 at China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, PR China. Granted from the past success, this 16th edition is expected to excite interests and trading opportunities in the printing industry.
A recent figure revealed that there are 1,088 printing corporations in Pearl River Delta and they pursue printing orders come from more than 40 countries/regions. The processing value has reached nearly RMB 40 billions, significantly indicating the strong base of the region. Besides, in 2007, the productivity of printing industry in Guangdong Province was RMB120 billions. According to the Custom Department, Guangdong Province imported 30, 788 sets of high-tech printing equipment in 2007 that occupied 60.8% of the whole country, demonstrating its leading position in the printing industry.
Shenzhen, another fast-growing place of Guangdong Province, pursues more than a half of the major high-end printed matters of the country. Nowadays, more than 60% high-end publications and printed collaterals, 85% yellow pages and even 90% auction catalogues are printed in this city, prompting the city with large potentials to develop as a world-class printing center.
South China embracing such large local and overseas processing markets, inevitably provides unlimited trading opportunities for universal suppliers.

The organizer remarked that booth rental progress of The 16th Printing South China is encouraging. Over 80% of past exhibitors will take part in the coming edition, including Shanghai Electric, Beiren, Wity, SPS, Weihai Hamada, Han's Laser, Mark Andy, AVT (Brotech), Lintec, Avery Dennison, Labelmen, Taiyo, Wutung, ETI, Pantone and Haotian, etc., who will bring both advanced technologies and cost competitive equipment to this international trading platform.
New highlights on Digital Printing and Paper Converting
The 16th Printing South China 2009 will comprise 6 theme zones featuring Pre-press, Digital Printing, Offset/Flexo/Gravure Printing, Screen Printing Equipment & Materials, Inks/Consumables & Accessories, and Post-press & Paper Converting. Moreover, to cater for the growing applications of digital printing, the organizer will join hands with Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong to stage a Digital Printing Symposium and invite local and overseas specialists to contribute insights on innovative techniques and forecast the market development.

As a premier trade event in South China, Printing South China has gained widespread support from the industry. Administration of Press and Publication of Guangdong Province and Printing Materials Co., Ltd will organize visit groups from the whole nation. Besides, printing trade associations of China have made their plans in organizing visit groups and attending concurrent activities, including Guangzhou Publishing and Printing Association, printing associations from Hunan, Xiamen and Quanzhou of Fujian Province, Yulin of Guangxi Province and Shantou of Guangdong Province, as well as Guangdong Provincial Alcohol Industry Association Beer Branch, etc.
Another three trade events, namely Sino-Label 2009, Sino-Pack 2009 and China Drinkteck 2009 will be held concurrently, bringing along the total solutions on label printing, packaging equipments and materials to fairs' visitors, creating a synergy effect to the printing, label and packaging industries.
