Scotland’s Trade Fair: Launch Gallery Unveiled For New Companies

Scotland's premier trade gift show has unveiled a brand new initiative for 2009 with the introduction of its Launch Gallery. Running like a vein through the middle of the Show, the Launch Gallery will highlight new and emerging companies within Scotland's Trade Fair Spring, which is being held at the SECC from 25-27 Jan 09.

This platform for up to 20 companies with design-led products will allow newcomers to showcase their products in a specific area and will enable buyers to find with ease these exciting, new and innovative companies.

Mark Saunders, from Springboard Events who organise Scotland's Trade Fair says: "It is often difficult for young companies to fully market themselves when they are just starting up. This initiative has been developed to give such exhibitors assistance with marketing support and a special stand rate.

"We already have a number of exhibitors in the Launch Gallery who have an array of inspiring products and great enthusiasm to be highly successful producers. This brand new Launch Gallery is our way of ensuring young, new talent is recognised and encouraged."

The Launch Gallery will include jewellery producers Tartan Twist and Pretty Pink, gift companies such as Mogwaii and Scott Inness, vintage home accessories from Wild Seed Gifts and knitwear and textiles from Courses n Wales (see below).

Buyers and visitors to the Show will also benefit from this new platform as it channels them into a designated area where new, young exhibitors are all grouped together. The Launch Gallery stands will all have a slightly different stand identity with white and black capping to make them distinctive.
