| More Than 80% Of Space At Cevisama Booked Already The 27th CEVISAMA takes place from 10th to 13th February and more than 80% of the space has already been booked. The global economic situation is reflected in a 12% reduction in the space that ceramic tile exhibitors have booked at CEVISAMA. The contraction is due largely to companies taking less space rather than to a reduction in the number of exhibitors. One of the fair's objectives is to maintain its commercial appeal and the high degree to which it is representative of the industry. One hundred of the companies exhibiting are from abroad and a third of these are top Italian firms. Another country with a substantial representation is Portugal. CEVISAMA draws more foreign buyers than any other trade fair in Spain, with almost 14,000 visiting the last show. The diversity in terms of the sources of visitors, who come from more than 145 countries around the world, mirrors the global nature of the exhibition. To date, more than 350 major buyers from all over the world have confirmed that they will be attending. A similar number to previous years, these visitors have been invited by the organisers and endorsed by the various Commercial Offices of Spain. As for hotel bookings, CEVISAMA's partner hotels have so far logged more than 4,300 reservations. The results of the customer satisfaction survey that is carried out after the exhibition reflect the excellent impression that buyers have of CEVISAMA and how useful the fair is to exhibitors. That the fair is highly rated is evident in that over 93% of buyers and 90% of exhibitors have stated that they intend to return. CEVISAMA enjoys considerable visitor loyalty, with more than 65% of visitors having come to the fair between three and five times. What this means is that buyers know that they will always find an interesting, quality and varied product offer at CEVISAMA. At the upcoming show, CEVISAMA will again be promoting awareness of the use of ceramic tiles in architecture and interior design. Trans/hitos, the display of trends in ceramic tiles staged by Alicer, is being subtitled "Redes" ("Networks"). Trans/hitos has become a point of reference for the leading edge of Spain's ceramic tile industry, especially as regards new uses and applications. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
