Vietnam Telecomp 2008: a MUST-GO Event for Industry Professionals

The 12th International Exhibition in Vietnam on Telecommunications and Information Technology (also known as "Vietnam Telecomp 2008") and the International Exhibition in Vietnam on Electronics Products 2008 (also known as "Vietnam Electronics 2008") will be staged during November 26 to 29 2008 at HoChiMinh City International Exhibition and Convention Center (HIECC).

Officially sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and co-organized by the Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (VNPT), the largest operator in Vietnam and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd (Adsale), the twin expos will occupy an exhibition area of 6,000 sq.m. and gather around 200 exhibitors from 17 countries / regions.

The high-level symposia, which are held concurrently with the twin expos will serve as an effective platform for ICT professionals to grasp market news, exchange technology innovation and share development experience.

The Official Seminar, which will be held on the first event day is organized for the regulators and operators to discuss the topic of "Market Development and Business Opportunities in Vietnam ICT Market in the Integration Era". This will be a high-level sharing about the future development roadmap of the industry in more macro points of view. In the following 2-day symposium of "Communications Technology - Innovation, Applications and Convergence", it will address the various technologies, which are the hottest and most suitable in the Vietnam ICT market.

What's more, VNPT, TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance, China PTAC Communications Services Co., Ltd. and Adsale, will join force to hold a conference on November 27, 2008, which will facilitate an in-depth discussion on "3G Services & Network Evolution with TD-SCDMA & TD-LTE Standard". On the following day, a conference on "Vietnam Opto" will be organized by Vietnamese National Center for Technological Progress (NACENTECH). The exhibition together with the symposia and conference will certainly provide the most effective channel for the industry and participants to exchange ideas on technology development, gain the latest market update, explore infinite business opportunities and partnership.

Overseas Pavilions Enrich the International Content of the Twin Expos
Vietnam Telecomp / Electronics 2008 demonstrate their affluent international content with continuous support from country pavilions. The two pavilion organizers from China, including China Pavilion, which is being led by CCPIT Electronics and Information Industry Sub-Council and PTAC Pavilion, which is being led by China PTAC Communications Services Co., Ltd will bring the largest group of exhibitors to the twin expos. At the same time, pavilion organizers from Korea (Korea IT Business Women's Association "KIBWA") and Singapore (Singapore Industrial Automation Association "SIAA") also demonstrate their consecutive support to the twin expos this year by bringing groups of notable ICT and electronics enterprises to the shows.

Furthermore, one of the breakthroughs this year is the first presence of two new pavilion organizers from Taiwan and Thailand. There will also be a delegation led by the Ministry of International Trade and Investment for the Province of Ontario, Canada, joining the events for the first time.

In order to maximize the participation effectiveness of the exhibitors, the organizers will provide business consultancy service to exhibitors at the fairground.
