ProWein, International Trade Fair for Wines and Spirits in Düsseldorf, Germany and INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA, International Technology Trade Fair for Wine, Fruit and Fruit Juice, in Stuttgart, Germany, are further expanding their marketing cooperation. Starting in 2010, the two events will be held consecutively every three years. Both international trade fairs are rated No. 1 in their respective fields and will give wine producers from around the world the opportunity to take part in two trade fairs within one week, thus saving time and money: ProWein will provide a first-class platform to successfully market their wines and at INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA they can get the latest information about producing their wines. In Germany, the wine producers will benefit from compact information transfer and will have the opportunity to form contacts in the areas of retail, wholesale, marketing, sales and production that are unparalleled anywhere else in the world.

Due to INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA�s three-year cycle, the first time that the two events will be staged consecutively will be in March 2010: ProWein will take place from March 21 - 23 in Düsseldorf, followed immediately by INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA from March 24 - 27 in Stuttgart. Staging two wine trade fairs successively every three years will make Germany the premier trade fair platform for the global wine industry.

Held every year, ProWein attracts over 33,000 trade visitors from 40 countries and more than 3,000 international exhibitors. The wine and spirits exhibits are supported by high-caliber symposia and panel discussions, tasting sessions, exclusive evening events and exciting initiatives in cooperation with the city. At INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA, staged every three years, the latest technologies for the production and marketing of wines, fruits and fruit juices are presented. Some 600 exhibitors and over 40,000 visitors from around the world took part in the latest edition in 2007. The cooperation between PROWEIN and INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA on an international level has already proven to be successful. Since 2004, the two trade fairs have intensified their cooperation through joint initiatives in order to take advantage of existing synergies and to offer wine producers around the world maximum added value.
