| Plastics and Rubber Indonesia and ProPak Indonesia Plastics and Rubber Indonesia and ProPak Indonesia return 3-6 December 2008 alongside Machine Tool and Manufacturing Indonesia at the Jakarta International Expo Centre. Plastics and Rubber Indonesia and ProPak have attracted a record 490 companies from 28 countries and when combined with the other specialized trade exhibitions, occupy all nine halls at the exhibition centre, with a total of 1979 participating companies. The organisers have had to construct a temporary structure, hall F to accommodate the continuing demand for space. The huge International presence has been reinforced by a record 14 international/regional pavilions from Austria, China, Germany (2), Italy, Korea (2), Poland, Singapore (2), Taiwan (2), Thailand and the UK. Plastics and Rubber Indonesia 2008 will showcase the latest equipment and technologies from leading manufactures and local agents including Agru Kunststofftechnik, Amut, Anfu Plastics Machinery, Bilplast Grapindo, Chen Hsong Machinery, Hwa Chin Machinery, Queens Machinery, Riasarana Ekapratama and Starlinger. ProPak Indonesia 2008 will highlight the full range of products for the food and pharmaceutical packaging sector from companies such as Autopack, Bella Nitec Machinery, Fillomatic Global Industries, Mitra Pack, Polypack Perkasa, Sunpack and Yong Fa Machinery. Over 40, 000 professional trade visitors are expected to throng the aisles of this four day exhibition in search of ideas, technology and equipment that can be utilised to expand their companies operation in Indonesia. Accompanying events adding value to the exhibition include a number of high level conferences entitled "Quality and Safety of Thermal Food Processing" (GAPMMI- Indonesian Food and Beverage Association); "The Essence of Packaging, Innovation-technology-trends-environment" (FPI- Indonesian Packaging Federation); "Economic Outlook 2009 and Strategy of Woven Polyolefin Manufacturers Industry" (GIATPI- Indonesian Woven Polyolefin Manufacturers Association). Plastics and Rubber Indonesia and ProPak Indonesia will be open 10.00-19.00 daily, 3-5 December and 10.00-18.00, 6 December.
