| Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 An Overwhelming Success! Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 proved to be a great success amongst the leaders of the local and international plastic and rubber industries, having welcomed 5517 attendees from 34 countries at the end of its three day run. The joint collaboration between Bangkok Exhibition Services (a member of Allworld Exhibitions) and Messe Düsseldorf Asia and with the excellent collaboration from local partner, VCCI Exhibition Service Co Ltd., was the successful recipe for the healthy increase in visitor numbers at Vietnam's largest and most authoritative show dedicated to plastics and rubber. Featuring some 206 exhibitors from 21 countries, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 was opened by Vice Minister Mr Le Duong Quang from the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The show recorded a growth of 80% in the number of participating companies as well as a strong international presence with support from country and regional groups that included Austria, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan. Both exhibitors and visitors were reportedly more than satisfied with the outcome of PRV 2008 and the show floor was abuzz with activities with both exhibitors and visitors making full use of the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and focus on the latest in technology through live product demonstrations. Adding to the positive atmosphere was the sale of machines and equipment and encouraged by the higher visitor turnout and quality of the visitors at the exhibition, exhibitors have shown a robust interest in the upcoming Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2010. "Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 serves as a very useful platform for us to reach out to our existing and potential customers in Vietnam.
