| The Second "Reifen China" on Course for Growth After the success of the premiere last year which exceeded the expectations by far, the second "Reifen China" will go to the starting line in Shanghai on December 4 6, 2008. "The signs are indicating growth, " is the happy assessment of Klaus Reich, Director of Messe Essen which is organising "Reifen China" in cooperation with BRV - Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseurhandwerk as well as the CURC - China United Rubber Company. Over 100 exhibitors from 16 countries have already registered until now, around two months before the dates of the fair. Reich: "Thus, we are already no less than ten percent above the total number of participants in the first event last year. With regard to the booked exhibition area, we are registering a plus of 30 percent at the moment." In 2007, a total of over 12,000 experts visited the New International Exhibition Center in Shanghai for "Reifen China" and the "Rubber Tech China" trade fair staged in parallel. About half of them were especially interested in the range available at "Reifen China" which thus laid the foundation stone for establishing an enduring communication and information platform for the tyre business. "The idea of offering the industry associated with all aspects of wheels and tyres a fair platform in the booming Asian market has gone down well, " emphasises the BRV Chairman Peter Hülzer. Not least, the "Reifen Essen" fair brand which is firmly anchored in the international expert world is said to guarantee a top event precisely in China. Hülzer sees the fact that not only the Chinese trade association and BRV but also the tyre associations from Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand will be involved in Shanghai as an additional quality characteristc of "Reifen China". Apart from the objective of opening up new sales channels for companies, the leading international position of Essen's premier global fair "Reifen Essen" is to be consolidated further with "Reifen China". While the participation of Chinese exhibitors in "Reifen Essen" already reached a record level this year, Messe Essen is expecting another increase for the next "Reifen Essen" (June 1 4, 2010). Klaus Reich: "Our appearance together with BRV in Shanghai is attracting attention and is also drawing attention to the parent fair in Essen." write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
