China Power Industry Achievements Exhibition

Organized by China Electricity Council, The 12th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology and The 5th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment and Contractors? Supplies will stage from November 12 - 14, 2008 at the China International Exhibition Center, PR China. Extensive support has been gained from major industrial players from the power industry.

At the same time, it has been 30 years since the China Reform & Open-door Policy of the power industry. China Electricity Council takes this precious opportunity and organizes the ?China Power Industry Achievements Exhibition - 30 years of Reform & Opening up? alongside EP China 2008. Since the China Reform & Open-door Policy, the electric power industry of China has achieved gorgeous accomplishment.

To review the 30th years? achievement of the power industry and to learn from these fruitful experiences, so as to explore a right track for the future development, are the primal mission of this memorial. It is the first time the expo gathers 16 major power group corporations and power grid corporations in China, including State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, Datang, Huaneng, Huadian, Guodian, China Power Investment, Shen Hua, Three Gorges Project, Guangdong Nuclear, Guangdong Yudean, Zhejiang Provincial Energy Group and State Nuclear. Management of these corporations will attend this stunning event of the industry.

On the other hand, EP China / Electrical China attains a record-breaking scale this year. The 5 exhibition halls will be occupied by 400 leading global suppliers from 20 countries/regions. Amongst they are 3M, ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Chint, Areva, GE Energy, Hyosung, Eaton, Toshiba, Hitachi, Xiamen Huadian, Japan AE Power, EDF, Mennekes, Rochling, Tamco, Woehner, Du Pont, Dow Corning, Yinhe Hitech, Exide, Rittal, NRG, Hyundai Heavy Industry, Formosa and Wartsila, etc. Moreover, international pavilions from Germany, UK (BEAMA), Korea (Korea Electrical Manufacturers Association), US (US Embassy - Commercial Service) and Spain (AFME), etc. will showcase their newest products and technology at the fairground.

To grasp widespread participation from the power industry, the organizer has joined hands with China and overseas trade associations to maximize the fair promotion. More than 10 associations from the power industry of China have planned to lead a visit delegation to the fair, from Beijing, Shandong Taian, Liaoning, Shanxi Datong, Jiangsu Nantong, Changzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou, Zhejiang Huzhou, Henan Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Hebei Zhangjiakou, Guangdong Foshan and Neimenggu Dianli Jituan. Besides, overseas power specialists from Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Russia, Ukraine and Pakistan will gather into delegation groups and visit the fair as well.

China Electricity Council will concurrently organize the 2008 China Power Business Convention alongside EP China 2008. The Convention will comprise CDM project trading, under-planning project briefing, equipment purchasing discussion, sales agent / partnership business matching, marketing and technology information sharing, etc. It will create unlimited business potentials for power project owners and global suppliers.

Symposia on Power Transmission & Distribution and Environmental Protection Technology will be staged to facilitate in-depth interactions among industrial players. Areva T&D China, GE Energy, Formosa, Albemarle Corporation will give topics on energy conversation and emission deduction. On the other hands, Siemens Ltd. China will cover the topic on Switchgear NXAIR S and Schneider Electric will cover The Development of Vacuum Interrupting Technology, etc.
