| The 58th Sia Guest – International Hospitality Exhibition The 58th Sia Guest – International Hospitality Exhibition organized by Rimini Fiera with the sponsorship of Federalberghi and AIPI Italian Association of Interior Designers will be held from 22nd to 25th November 2008 at Rimini Expo Centre. It will occupy 14 halls of the Rimini expo centre: an overall area of 90,000 m2. 847 companies are awaited. 50,000 trade visitors are expected at SIA 2008 (there were 48,438 at the 2006 edition, the last comparable edition, precisely for the participation of large systems for food service). SIA GUEST is the key expo for all industries and suppliers connected with the hospitality market, the expo area is focussed on the innovation, places, atmospheres, trends and projects of a market – that of excellent quality – which is constantly evolving. THE SIA GUEST 2008 EXPO LAYOUT Halls C7-A7-A5-A3: Furnishing, Décor and Contract Halls C1-C3: Supplies (porcelain, glassware, crystal, silverware, cutlery, table linen and bed linen). Hall C5: Furnishing Inter Decò (fabrics, floor-covering and interior finishes for contract work). Halls D1-D3-D5: Equipment (large equipment for catering and food service, small equipment for bars, breakfasts and fast food). Hall B1: Technology (audio, video, telecommunications, IP, control/management systems), Services for the hospitality world, Security (fire protection, alarm systems, automation) Hall A1: Systems, Wellness (equipment for wellness centres in hotels), Bathroom furniture and décor Halls D2-B2-B4: Commercial vehicles Project manager Nicola De Pizzo explains, ´SIA has been able to fully intercept the new trends. Every edition of the expo is authoritative and well attended, the companies acknowledge this status and – months before the exhibition – we have already strengthened the group of leading firms. In November, there will be the participation – as is the case every two years – of manufacturers of large systems for catering and food service and we expect an SIA completely up to its role of bringing together companies, designers and end users. We are also working on other very important projects, surprises we shall however only unveil right before the expo.´ Areas dedicated to shows and events will be spread through the expo centre: NonSoloAlbergo – The excellent places at the cupola in the South Foyer, Mediterranean Scents in Hall C7, 1:1 Hotel in Hall A7, the thematic areas linked with wellness in Hall A1, Enjoy Your Flight in Hall B5, POLI.Design Area and Business Lounge round the sides of the South Foyer. On the occasion of SIA GUEST 2008, three entrances will be used (east, south and west) at Rimini Fiera and the on-site railway will be open, with sixteen trains stopping every day on the Milan-Bari line.
