| NürnbergMesse China Acquires IAC, TME+SENSOR Highly specialized international exhibitions are the core business of NürnbergMesse and its international subsidiaries in the USA and China. NürnbergMesse China now expands its portfolio again with the purchase of the Industrial Automation & Control (IAC), Test & Measurement Expo (TME) + SENSOR. The exhibitors and visitors at IAC, TME+SENSOR already benefit from the first positive effect, as PCIM China, an exhibition for power electronics, takes place at the same time as IAC, TME+SENSOR in future. The organizer of PCIM China is Mesago Messe Frankfurt, which organizes three of its largest exhibitions at the Nürnberg venue. IAC, TME+SENSOR has been one of the key get-togethers for the automation, measuring technology and sensor industries in the Asian region for 13 years and is a leader in this segment. "Purchasing IAC, TME+SENSOR extends the range of themes we offer. It is a very successful exhibition that is well-known and established in the industry and its potential is nowhere near exhausted. Organizing PCIM China at the same time is also an excellent addition to the themes and rounds off the spectrum again, " explains Axel Bartkus, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse China. Udo Weller, Director of PCIM and PCIM China at Mesago Messe Frankfurt, states other reasons for holding the exhibitions in tandem: "PCIM China – China's leading Exhibition & Conference for Power Electronics, Intelligent Motion and Power Quality / Energy Management since 2002 – will be held at the same time as IAC, TME+SENSOR starting in 2009. NürnbergMesse China also purchased the IPB International Powder/Bulk exhibition from this successful exhibition company last year.
