| Level 42 Have It Taped Level 42 head out on the road in October for a 20 date UK tour - with a little help from an unusual backer – the global technology company, 3M. Electrical tape might not be front of mind in the world of jazz funk but 3M, manufacturer of 55,000 wide-ranging products from Post-it Notes to optical films for LCD displays, has become official supplier of electrical tape for frontman Mark King. This will ensure protection of the lead singer's priceless thumb for the entire tour. Mark King commented, "For years now I have taped up my thumb with 3M electrical tape to protect it from splitting, due to the pressure that I put across with my style of playing.
