| Moda Made In Italy Held in Germany from the 10th to the 12th October, at the pavilions of Munich's MOC, Moda Made In Italy is the exhibition dedicated to top-of-the-range Italian footwear organised by ANCI, the National Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers. In an exhibition area of more than 11,000 gross square metres, 220 exhibiting companies will present their footwear creations dedicated to the spring/summer 2009 season. Thanks to the particularly interesting selection of high quality brand names, MODA MADE IN ITALY at the Moc characterises itself as a privileged fixture for the introduction of new fashion trends onto the German market. The exhibition, in fact, is an essential occasion for Central European agents of the footwear sector, coming, in particular, from Southern Germany, but also from Austria and Switzerland, who look upon this exclusive appointment as the ideal moment to complete and enrich their orders, taking advantage of this final opportunity of the exhibition calendar. "Germany, despite the decline of the past few years", states Vito Artioli, president of ANCI, "represents for us a market of strategic and essential outlet and the appointment with MODA MADE IN ITALY at Moc remains an important stop for quality Italian footwear. In fact, side-by-side with the exhibition event we are putting forward new initiatives in order to consolidate the presence of Italian footwear in that area." In 2007, the Istat data elaborated by ANCI confirms that Germany remains the second most valuable client for made-in-Italy production, with an amount of over 914 million euro and is the highest buyer in terms of volume, with more than 44 million pairs of shoes purchased. Therefore, it is a strategic market for Italian companies, precisely for the volume that it still shifts within the European area. An important innovation on German soil is the ANCI press room in Hamburg, inaugurated in the past few weeks and created to be a true headquarters for Italian footwear where the made-in-Italy footwear of the associate companies is made available to journalists and photographers. On the occasion of MODA MADE IN ITALY at Moc, on the evening of the 9th October at the Hotel Charles in Munich, the Association is organising an evening to stage the collections of those companies that have joined the press room initiative, with models on exhibition from the following day and subsequently at Hamburg. In order to further strengthen the leadership of Italian products two press conferences will also be organised throughout the course of the year: one in Hamburg and one in Munich. Their aim is to further involve the local press, able also to count on a local public relations company that will take care of, on behalf of the Association, all relationships with information corporations in order to promote the Italian companies' collections with greater incisiveness. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
