Experience The Flavours Of The World At Ife Foodapest

The "all new" IFE Foodapest takes place between 20 – 22 November at the Hungexpo Budapest Fair Centre in Central Budapest. Two of the regions best known food and drink fairs, Foodapest and IFE Hungary, have come together to provide buyers with a 'one-stop' opportunity to see and compare everything that is new in the food and drink industry. As a member of the highly successful and respected series of IFE Worldwide exhibitions, IFE Foodapest has the backing of a proven brand name which attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors around the world through trade events take place in America, India, Poland, Russia and the UK.

In 2007, the all encompassing IFE Foodapest will include new features and dedicated product sectors, educating and entertaining the buyer, whilst making it easier for them to find the product they wish to purchase. Attracting some major international group associations, IFE Foodapest also allows the visitor to taste the flavours of the world. Here are just some of the highlights of this year's event ….

Exhibition Features

3 new features have been introduced to educate and entertain the visitor. The Business Strategy Forum will host a series of presentations relevant to importing and exporting, market trends and new products. The forum will educate the buyer, presenting solutions that could bring increased profits.

The Live Demonstration Theatre will feature local and international chefs showing off their talents and also includes sampling sessions allowing you to taste before you buy plus presentations on the latest products in the market, both entertaining and educating the buyer.

Finally, the New Product Showcase, will provide the buyer with an interactive display of the latest products and innovations exhibited at IFE Foodapest, engaging the buyer.

Flavours of the World

This year sees the introduction of the 'Walk the World' section. You will be able to sample flavours and make contacts with exciting companies from countries around the globe including: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, England, France, Greece, Namibia, Kenya, Korea, America, Monaco, Germany, Sri Lanka, India, Turkey, Malaysia, Serbia and Belgium.

Collective group stands include:

Austria

10 companies will represent the best Austria has to offer in wines, meat products, coffee, cranberry products and dairy products. The pavilion is organised by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in cooperation with the Austrian Trade Commission and will provide the buyer with the quality and tastes of Austrian food and drink specialists. Included on the pavilion will be a Vienese Café.

Greece

The Greek Pavilion, organised by HEPO, will promote the products of 9 export businesses in the food and beverage sectors. Located in Hall A in the "Walk The World" sector, the Greek Pavilion will offer the buyer the best Greek cuisine and gastronomy on the market.

Italy

At the Italian Pavilion, buyers will be able to taste the best food products Italy has to offer. ICE will be bringing 11 companies from all corners of Italy. The unspoilt region of Regione Molise is bringing 6 companies, each exhibiting products reflecting the flavour of "old times". You will be able to sample olive oil, vegetable products, cheeses, coffee and other delectable Italian traditions. A visit to the Pavilion will provide the buyer with a taste of what the country can offer.

Azerbaijan

Not traditionally known for its food and drink exports, The Deutsche Gesellschaft fuy Technische Zusammenarbiet (GTZ) and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Foundation (AZPROMO) have joined forces to introduce and promote Azerbaijani brands into new markets. 5 Azerbaijani local producers will be exhibiting a variety of fruit juices and nut products. This will represent one of the 1st opportunities for buyers to experience some of the best Azerbaijan has to offer.

In addition to meeting exhibitors on their stand, you will also be able to listen to international demonstrations and discussions on our Live Demonstration Area and Business Strategy Forum including international food trends.
