| Ipm China 2008 ![]() This year, the organisers will continue the success of the last IPM CHINA. Even now, a large number of new national and international exhibitors have already registered. These include a Kenyan producer of cut flowers, one of the African market leaders. For the first time, Spain will be present at IPM CHINA as an exhibiting nation. After 2005, the USA is also planning cooperative participation once again with six companies. At IPM CHINA, the four clearly structured exhibition sections of plants, technology, floriculture and sales promotion have proven their worth. This year, more space will be granted to the tree nursery products. For the first time, IPM CHINA will also occupy the outdoor site at the fair venue for this purpose. With a cooperative booth, the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection will promote the participation of German companies in IPM CHINA for the fourth time already and will thus emphasise the significance of the Chinese market for German companies. The organisers of IPM CHINA will support the exhibitors with regard to the planning and execution of their fair appearance. For example, a partner travel agency of Messe Essen will offer a group trip and the forwarding services can also be rendered via a partner company of Messe Essen. In situ, the exhibitors will have the possibility of visiting Chinese horticultural businesses. The very promising development of the Chinese horticultural sector is offering numerous chances to companies in the industry. Around Dollar 5.6 billion was turned over in the segment in 2006, twice as much as just ten years before. China imported goods worth Dollar 160 million and the exports of horticultural products amounted to Dollar 240 million. The province of Guangdong in which IPM CHINA will be staged is the leader in the horticultural field: there are 12,000 horticultural businesses in the region and the turnover with horticultural products totalled around Dollar 810 million in 2006. Green plants, pot plants, cut flowers and woody plants from tree nurseries each account for 25 percent. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
