| Maintain 2008: Managing Maintenance is Managing Success For most companies, industrial maintenance is a key competitive factor – and one for which MAINTAIN is the ultimate exhibition platform. The trade fair for industrial maintenance is being held in the halls of the M, O, C, Event Centre for the fourth time in 2008. When it opens its gates from October 14 – 16, once again Munich will become an international maintenance hub. MAINTAIN is a business and information platform for experts and decision-makers, from technical buyers and maintenance managers to plant and company directors. When it celebrated its premiere in 2005, MAINTAIN immediately established itself in the industry and quickly developed into the leading exhibition for industrial maintenance in Europe. Since its premiere, the number of visitors who attend the fair has increased steadily. That positive trend continued at the 2007 exhibition, when MAINTAIN had 4,800 trade visitors from 36 countries – a new high. Year for year, the maintenance exhibition has received top marks from exhibitors and visitors, a fact verified by the independent opinion-research institute forschungplus. One of the most impressive aspects of MAINTAIN is the constantly increasing presence of industry experts and decision-makers: In 2007, 84 percent of the exhibitors gave the fair a rating of good to excellent for the quality of its visitors. Among other things, that is because 21 percent of all visitors come to MAINTAIN with concrete plans to invest. Exhibitors are also impressed with the visitors' decision-making authority: 30 percent play a key role the decision-making process in their companies, and another 45 percent are involved in that process. As always, visitors who attend MAINTAIN in 2008 will experience the entire range of products and services that the maintenance industry has to offer. According to Norbert Bargmann, Managing Director at Munich International Trade Fairs, "Demand for exhibition space at this year's MAINTAIN has already increased, and the official application deadline is still nearly four months away." This motto of this year's MAINTAIN is "Managing maintenance is managing success". MAINTAIN is the marketplace for momentum, strategies and service concepts in industrial maintenance. As the most important industry gathering of its kind, it brings together decision-makers in the manufacturing and processing sectors who use the international exhibition as a communications platform. And they have a common objective: to promote innovations and service solutions in close dialog. The exhibition will be rounded out by forums and conferences that give industry representatives additional opportunities to gather and exchange information and to discuss the latest trends, developments and innovations in maintenance. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
