interbad 2008, which will take place from 15 to 18 October for the first time at the new Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre, Europe's most modern trade fair grounds, will provide first-class presentations and an abundance of knowledge to a high standard in the congresses taking place parallel to the event. The congress for the recreational and medicinal bath industry, which is organised by the German Association for the Recreational and Medicinal Bath Industry, takes place traditionally within the framework of the most important European trade fair for swimming pools, saunas, spas and whirlpools.

On all trade fair days, the symposia "Public swimming pools and baths", "Physiotherapy", "Saunas" and "Swimming pools and bath personnel" will deliver hard facts and present current trends. The Spa Market Conference, which took place for the first time at the last interbad and received an excellent response, will take place on 15 and 16 October. The event organised by the Spa Business Verlag is aimed at owners, as well as managers of hotels, spas and wellness facilities, and will communicate valuable business know-how and present industry trends.

The congress for the recreational and medicinal bath industry, which is organized by the German Association for the Recreational and Medicinal Bath Industry and traditionally takes place parallel to interbad, is already taking place for the 60th time. One of the highlights in this congress will definitely be the presentation by Chris Bosse, architect of the swimming pool for the Olympic Games in Beijing, on visions for swimming pools. Presentations for the "Sauna" symposium will take place from Thursday to Sunday, in which legal aspects of the sauna business, marketing for sauna businesses and the principles on the sauna process will be presented. The symposium "Physiotherapy" will explore wellness offers in the physiotherapy business on 18 October.

Spa Market Conference to provide know-how

After the successful premiere of the Spa Market Conference at the last interbad in 2006, the Spa Business Verlag was able to obtain well-known experts from the industry for this year's event too. The event will feature international speakers and will be divided into the areas spa design & architecture, spa education & figures, spa trends & best practice, staff & quality, business & marketing and spa world. Decision-makers from wellness hotels, spa resorts, thermal spas, day spas, as well as students from the areas of tourism and health, will be able to enjoy a multitude of presentations at the conference, ranging from operational themes to technical aspects. The Spa Market Conference reflects interbad's universal approach and is an important element of the event.

Interbad party – industry get-together after the second trade fair day
At the interbad party in the ICS International Congress Centre Stuttgart, exhibitors and industry experts will be able to meet each other on the second evening of the trade fair. This is the perfect opportunity to discuss the first days of the event and to exchange information and ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. Approximately 700 guests are expected at this year's buffet at the interbad party. The motto of the evening will be "casino" – the gambling tables from Spielbank Stuttgart will be available for people's enjoyment. Another highlight of the evening programme is the magician and entertainer Nicolai Friedrich, who is well known from many different TV programmes and will try to work his magic on the guests.
