The Indo-international Homeland Security & Defence Exhibition

The Annual Indo-international Homeland Security & Defence Exhibition is set for 6th 8th November 2008, New Delhi. Informa, the owners of information super-brands including Lloyd's List and Datamonitor, and global mega-events including the Monaco Yacht Show, Cityscape, 3GSM and Leaders in India - have recently announced the launch of INDESEC EXPO 2008, India's new dedicated defence & homeland security exhibition, which is to be held in New Delhi this November.

Brigadier Raj Manchanda (Retd. Indian Army), Director - Asia, Defence & National Security Division, Informa India, says that "the event focuses on possibly the most significant current technological trends and niches in international defence and security and these are particularly relevant to India."

Addressing key issues, solutions and technologies at the heart of homeland security & defence, and showcasing cutting-edge solutions from international and Indian prime & sub-contractors, systems integrators, IT, IS and telecoms companies, INDESEC 2008 is focused on meaningful opportunities for high level networking, information exchange and business development between industry and potential buyers.

This important new cluster of exhibitions is dedicated to the requirements of Indian and international end users & buyers including the army; navy; air force; police; coast guard; border, internal & industrial security forces; intelligence agencies; shipping companies; ports and airports and immigration & disaster management authorities.

In addition to the three exhibitions and associated conferences, INDESEC 2008 will also feature the high level Defence & National Security Leadership Summit, at which India's Chief of the Air Staff and Chief of the Naval Staff are both speakers.
