Largest HVAC&R Event in Mexico Returns to Monterrey

AHR Expo -México is already one for the record books. With over 350 exhibitors covering more than 56,000 net square feet of exhibit space, this year's Show — the 8th edition — is now the biggest AHR Expo -México ever. Over 6,000 HVAC&R professionals from across Mexico and Latin America are expected to converge at Mexico's largest HVAC&R event to be held at the Cintermex in Monterrey N.L., Mexico, September 23-25, 2008. AHR Expo -México features exhibitors from 15 countries showcasing the latest air conditioning, heating, refrigeration and ventilation equipment and solutions, with many products being newly introduced to the Latin American marketplace. In addition, both visitors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to attend over 40 educational sessions on the latest technologies organized by the ASHRAE Monterrey Chapter.

As greater energy efficiency and the drive to update building systems to be more sustainable becomes a global necessity, Mexico's contractors, engineers, facility managers and other HVAC&R professionals will find a one-stop resource for the suppliers they need to meet the demand. This year's Show will be a "who's who" of some of the largest companies in the HVAC&R industry, including: Emerson Climate Technologies, Friedrich Air Conditioning Co., Invensys, Johnson 2 Controls de Mexico, Lennox Global, McQuay International, Samsung, Trane de Mexico, to name just a few.

"The Show's growth reflects the importance both visitors and exhibitors place on AHR Expo -México, " noted Clay Stevens, Show Manager. "Mexico's HVAC&R professionals really want to see what's new and how they can incorporate the latest technologies to improve their businesses as well as those of their customers. Exhibitors are eager to answer questions and provide the technical support that buyers are looking for."

In addition, ASHRAE's Monterrey Chapter will host a series of educational seminars over the three days. For a nominal fee, visitors can attend sessions on the latest protocols and standards, ways to optimize system efficiency, and more.
