| Melbourne’s Gardening Australia Expo is Fun Visitors to the Gardening Australia Expo, October 3 – 5 2008, Caulfield Racecourse, Caulfield, will discover an event filled with things to do, try, see and buy. Gardeners will have an inspirational experience gathering 'how to' advice from the experts; while, families will discover a fantastic day out with plenty to keep kids entertained. A special ABC for Kids' Activity Area means the expo isn't just for adults. Fifi, the delightful little Forget-Me-Not from the hit pre-school ABC TV show, Fifi and the Flowertots, will visit five times a day to meet her young fans. It's a great opportunity for parents to take photos of their kids with one of their favourite ABC TV characters. The kids can also enjoy colouring-in, reading, games and DVDs. Parents looking for fresh ideas to get their kids involved in the garden won't want to miss Peter Cundall's daily presentation of 'Gardening is for Everyone' in the Gardening Australia Theatre. Peter ignited his love for gardening at an early age and believes there is nothing more wonderful than a family which works together in an ornamental, fruit or vegetable garden. Join him as he talks about gardening and how it can inspire kids. Forget juggling bulky items and the kids! Plant and Product Pick-up is a convenient area where for $2 you can store your bulky items and plant purchases until you are ready to leave the expo - giving your family more time to relax and enjoy the visual spectacle of the feature gardens and the abundance of plants, flowers and gardening products in the indoor and outdoor areas of the expo. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
