| Activity Area “Breakfast and Brunch” at Hogatec 2008 Activity area "Breakfast and Brunch" at hogatec 2008: Live presentations, show kitchen and many other performances round off the culinary start to the day.On the catwalk: German Jobwear Leasing Confederation (DBL) presents its fashion show. Even those waking up grumpy in the mornings will find it hard not to warm to the smell of coffee and fresh rolls. At hogatec, the International Trade Fair Hotels, Gastronomy, Catering, from 28 September to 1 October 2008, the activity area "Frühstück und Brunch" (Breakfast and Brunch) will show how "dreamers" can actively start their day – and if they like – also continue indulging right up until midday. The motto is "From a business breakfast to a brunch experience". The 700 m² of the restaurant and bistro landscape in Hall 10 will be host to entrepreneurs' magazine GASTRONOMIE and trade journal GV-kompakt (Huss Medien) in cooperation with hogatec 2008 and its partners from the industry to demonstrate the ideal breakfast and brunch buffet, the new trends in demand for kitchens and equipment and the imaginative ideas promising success. After all, only one thing counts here: both hotels and restaurants have to vie for their customers' attention – customers who recommend the place to others and hopefully keep coming back. The activity area "Breakfast & Brunch in Action" will be a key attraction at the trade fair, not only on account of the dishes served here but also due to its attractive pool of information. This is because innovative products can be seen as well as tasted and/or tested. The activity area will feature a specially installed show stage, video screenings, live demos at the show kitchen plus many other performances. These also include the fashion show of the Deutsche Berufskleider-Leasing-Gesellschaft (DBL). Fashionable looks, utility and wear properties do not have to be a contradiction when it comes to workwear. On 29 September the DBL will present its collection several times a day, demonstrating what is up-and-coming in kitchens and the food service industry under the heading "Breakfast & Brunch". In addition to the presentation on the catwalk the company will also inform visitors on the benefits of textile leasing. A confederation of independent textile service providers, the DBL offers high-quality collections for rent plus the complete supply chain for these textile supplies at 23 locations throughout Germany. hogatec 2008 will be held in parallel with the food fair trio InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat at the Düsseldof Exhibition Centre from Sunday, 28 September, to Wednesday, 1 October 2008 and will be open daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. A day ticket costs € 30 (or € 18 – plus postage – when purchased in advance and online), a 2-day ticket costs € 45 (or € 32 when booked in advance and online). Students and trainees pay € 10. Furthermore, the admission ticket includes free use of public transport within the network of the VRR (Verkehrsverbund-Rhein-Ruhr) transport authority. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
