| MTA Vietnam2008 Trade exhibition and conference organiser, Singapore Exhibition Services Pte Ltd (SES) has announced that MTA Vietnam2008 will be held in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. MTA Vietnam is the largest manufacturing solutions event in Vietnam and featured over 400 exhibiting companies from 32 countries in 2007. Building on the year-on-year growth of three previous editions held in Ho Chi Minh City, SES will bring this quality showcase to Hanoi for the first time this year. This move was made possible by the strong support from the growing number of regional and international exhibitors participating in MTA Vietnam as well as the continued backing by government partners. The show's expanded reach to both cities will provide exhibitors with the platform to connect face-to-face with major industry players from across Vietnam. "Already established as the key international event for the manufacturing industry, MTA Vietnam2008 will continue to be the critical networking platform for industry leaders to converge and form strategic alliances. The event's inevitable expansion now allows participating exhibitors to address the raising demand from the two key hubs of industrial development for the latest technologies and expertise, " said Ms. Bui Thi Thuc Anh, Chief of Executives, VCCI Exhibition Services. MTA Vietnam2007 saw a 30% increase in trade visitorship to over 8, 700 from the year before. With the event being held in two cities in 2008, the shows are expected to attract a record number of visitors. They will be treated to over $10 million worth of the latest best-of-breed manufacturing solutions from a broad range of sectors, including metal-cutting, sheet-metal and metal-forming, cutting tools, test and measurement, and industrial tools and components, all aimed to boost business profit and productivity. "Strong support from our international industry partners as well as the Vietnamese government agencies have catalysed the growth of MTA Vietnam2008, making it possible for the event to be held in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, " said Mr William Lim, SES' project director for MTA Vietnam. "This development reaffirms our commitment to bring the latest in precision engineering, machine tools and metalworking to the industries, and contributing to Vietnam's rapid ascension as a regional manufacturing powerhouse." MTA Vietnam2008 will be held at at Ho Chi Minh International Exhibition & Convention Centre from 3rd to 6th September 2008.
