| CholodExpo Rossija 2009: Refrigeration Industry Get-Together CholodExpo Rossija 2009 – Russia's only trade fair for refrigeration – enters the next round. The central Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow is the meeting-place for the international refrigeration industry for the second time from 10-12 March 2009. One focus is the energy efficiency of new refrigerating equipment. The three-day event is accompanied by a conference on refrigeration. Besides the Giprocholod Institute, NürnbergMesse as promoter will cooperate closely with the Russian refrigeration association "Rossojuscholodprom" in future. The consumption index of the Russian industry is high. The economic growth demands new and better technologies and major events like the 2014 Winter Olympic Games boost the economy even more. Experts estimate that up to forty per cent of the refrigeration plants and equipment used in food production, transport and factories must be repaired or replaced in the coming years. The 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi call for brisk building activity, as all the sports facilities must be built new. There is also a trend to huge ice palaces. Foreign companies profit from this situation: Russia already imports up to 85 per cent of the necessary refrigeration plants and systems from abroad – and the trend is still rising. Refrigeration industry get-together So excellent prospects for exhibitors at CholodExpo Rossija to establish contacts, intensify business relationships and close contracts with the mainly Russian trade visitors. The visitors to the refrigeration industry's only get-together in Russia come from almost all segments of the refrigeration industry. They include refrigeration and air conditioning technicians, ventilation technicians and operators of cold stores and plants for the beverage and food industries, chemical industry and frozen food industry. Almost seventy per cent of the exhibitors were more than satisfied with the quality of the visitors at CholodExpo Rossija 2008. The exhibitors, mainly from Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany, present products tailored to the demanding needs of the trade visitors, such as refrigeration components and systems, cooling and freezing equipment, insulation, heat pumps, control & instrumentation, automation systems, energy-saving solutions, installation material and accessories for refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, plus services for the industries mentioned. Whether refrigeration systems and cooling for large stores or transport goods – the question of energy efficiency equally concerns suppliers and potential buyers of refrigeration systems at times of climate change. One more reason to make energy efficiency one of the key themes of CholodExpo Rossija. International conference The conference accompanying the exhibition is a must for every refrigeration technician. As at the first CholodExpo Rossija, a committee of experts from the refrigeration industry is developing the conference programme, which will deal with new developments and current refrigeration issues. The conference offers an excellent platform for an exchange of views and knowledge transfer between international experts and key representatives from the industry. The conference programme is expected to be available at www.cholodexpo.com from November. Cooperation with Russian refrigeration association NürnbergMesse, the promoter of CholodExpo Rossija, is organizing the exhibition for the first time in cooperation with the Russian refrigeration association "Rossojuscholodprom". As last year, the exhibition is also supported by a number of Russian ministries and international associations and organizations. For example, the well-known Giprocholod Institute in Moscow has been a partner of the event since 2008. Chillventa Nürnberg can also be expected to create a positive impact on the awareness of the Russian exhibition in Germany. Chillventa Exhibition Director Gabriele Hannwacker: "CholodExpo Rossija can also profit from the emerging success of Chillventa Nürnberg 2008." Chillventa Nürnberg celebrates its premiere from 15-17 October 2008 and more than 650 international exhibitors have already registered. CholodExpo Rossija in Moscow will take place in future annually in March. An increasing number of exhibitors and visitors are expected, as CholodExpo Rossija started its career extremely successfully last February. Just under 3, 000 trade visitors gathered information from 72 exhibitors from 15 countries and over 400 visitors attended the conference. Impressive figures for the premiere of an exhibition specializing in refrigeration. Exhibitors and visitors were highly satisfied with the conditions at the new exhibition. "CholodExpo Rossija is organized very well and professionally. All the leading players in the refrigeration industry were represented. The quality of the visitors is very high and they are exclusively trade visitors, " sums up a representative of Grasso, one of Russia's leading refrigeration companies. Exhibitors from other countries such as Frascold from Italy also see a positive result: "The CholodExpo Rossija concept is a very good idea in the right environment and at the right time." write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
