| The Pacific National Exhibition The Pacific National Exhibition has begun interviewing potential employees as it looks to fill 1,200 jobs for the annual fair. Qualified people who filled out online applications were being invited to attend innovative interviews Friday and today, the PNE. Designed to identify outgoing, enthusiastic team players, the interviews consist of dividing the applicants into teams of 10. The teams are given a series of interactive games, puzzles and challenges to complete within an allotted time period. Facilitators observe the teams and make hiring recommendations. The PNE, the largest employer of youth in the province, will continue to accept applications online after today's interview sessions. The 2008 Fair at the PNE runs Aug. 16 to Sept. 1. This year's concert lineup includes Billy Ray Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, Air Supply, Tower of Power and Spirit of the West.
