Health+Fitness Business Expo & Conference

Health+Fitness Business Expo & Conference (HFB), a division of Nielsen Business Media's Sports Group, announced the opening of online registration for its July 17-18 retail fitness industry tradeshow, to be held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo. The annual tradeshow gathers more than 175 fitness-related brands and approximately 3,000 industry professionals and decision makers.

"The Health+Fitness Business Expo continues to be the most targeted and valuable tradeshow for home fitness industry professionals, " said Rich Kelly, marketing manager for HFB. "Attending HFB gives participants a chance to see, touch and learn about the latest in fitness equipment, business practices and fitness programs from brands like Bodyguard, Body Vision, Diamondback Fitness, Octane, SportsArt, Star Trac and Vision, among others."

Registration is currently available at www.healthandfitnessbiz.com. Qualified buyer and distributor registration is free before June 13 with a $25 registration fee after that date or for onsite registration. For all non-buyer categories (brands, media sales, consultants, non-exhibiting manufacturers, etc.), there is a $200 per person fee on or before June 13th and $250 thereafter.

In place of a keynote address, HFB will host its first ever "State of the Industry" luncheon and roundtable discussion. The inaugural event will be led by fitness industry expert and SNEWS(r) editor-in-chief, Therese Iknoian, who will present recent industry survey results and lead round table discussions based on the findings and other key industry trends.

"This year's breakout sessions, particularly the 'State of the Industry' luncheon, will provide valuable information and collaboration about where we are as an industry and where we need to go, " Kelly said. "From the research we use to identify our target markets to the programs and technology we use to motivate our consumers to get moving and improve their health and wellness, our industry is making significant changes."

Expo attendees will also be able to try out the latest in fitness equipment during Health+Fitness Business' Early Morning Workouts. Due to popular demand, the hour long workouts are returning and will be held throughout the show floor from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on the morning of day two.

In addition, SNEWS(r) will hold its 4th Annual Fitness Forum panel from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on day two - titled, Strength in Numbers: Building Walls Won't Build Business - to explore how industries can unify and what the benefits or hurdles are.

For those who want to enjoy a round of golf, network with fellow industry members and support Augie's Quest, on July 16 (the day before the show), SNEWS(r) is organizing its Third Annual Golf Scramble. Hosted at the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, participants should check in for the event at 1:00 p.m., with tee time beginning at 1:30 p.m. Proceeds from the Golf Scramble will again benefit the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS).
