The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is proud to announce the 1st edition of the Ingredients Middle East 2008 exhibition - the region's premier international ingredients exhibition for food, halal food, beverage and health food covering the Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent. The trade only event, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre, will take place from 15 - 17 June 2008 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Ingredients Middle East 2008 is a specialist event brought to you by Gulfood and will provide buyers and sellers with a strategic platform to conduct direct business face-to-face.

The exhibition will showcase the very best and latest from manufacturers, distributors, and international suppliers who cultivate, extract, process or supply raw materials and ingredients used in the manufacturing and processing.

With a population of around 4.1 million and an anticipated growth rate of approximately 6.9% per annum, Dubai's total value of spending in the food industry is over US$ 1.77 billion. This coupled with Dubai's food processing industry valued at US$ 3 billion, makes Ingredients Middle East ideally placed to provide a business platform, for suppliers to network with key industry players to launch new products and services and to discover the latest market trends.

The exhibition will welcome over 100 exhibitors. Key suppliers already on board include market leaders Doehler Middle East Ltd, CHR. Hansen Middle East Fzco, Transveritas, Agus Sp.z o.o., Reda Food Ingredients, Food Specialties, Maskem, Dairy Tech, Agrana Fruit Istanbul and many, many more. In addition, visitors to the show can also source products from leading suppliers in the following international pavilions; China, Egypt, Germany, India and Turkey.

Held alongside the exhibition, will be the specialist conference the "Arab Beverages Forum 2008", taking place on the 15 and 16 June, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The conference will detail current global situations and how they relate to and affect the local market. Discussions include added values, flavoring, packaging as well as strategies to develop and position products to capture new markets.

Ingredients Middle East 2008 - the 1st International Ingredients Exhibition for Food, Beverage and Health Foods for the Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent will take place from 10:00am - 5:00pm on 15-16 June and 10:00am - 4:00pm on 17 June 2008 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai, UAE. Visitors under the age of 18 will not be permitted entry.
