| Exhibition of Jewellery in Diamonds, Gems, Pearls, and Stones On the occasion of 1st anniversary of its Panaji showroom, Lagu Bandhu is presenting ‘Saaz Mohotsav, an exhibition of jewellery in diamonds, gems, pearls, and precious stones at the showroom from June 7 to 14. The Saaz Mohotsav was inaugurated in the presence of Ms Shashikala Kakodkar, ex-chief minister. Lagu Bandhu, which is known for the exquisite jewellery in diamonds, gems, pearls, and precious stones since 1936, has its branches in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Thane, and Goa. Lagu Bandhu, started its operations in Goa on June 7, 2007. Since its inception, Goenkars have given them great response and today for Goa and its people, Lagu Bandhu s showroom in Panaji has become a one-stop-shop for genuine diamond and studded stone jewellery, says a press release issued here. Mr Gurunath Bichu, who heads Lagu Bandhu s Goa branch said: “Apart from our very own Goans, visiting Indian and international tourists have also showered encomiums on us for our innovative designs and quality. One must say that Lagu Bandhu has come up to the expectations of Goenkars !” This festival will conclude with, ‘Rang Swaranche, a uniquely conceptualised musical event of old and new Marathi songs that will be crooned by the semi-finalists from singing reality shows like Saregama and Indian Idol.
