For the first time, Messe Frankfurt is offering a professional, all-day care service for children aged from 6 to 13 during Decorate Life 2008, in addition to the kindergarten in the 'Torhaus' building. The aim is to give parents the chance to take part in the fair in a relaxed frame of mind while their offspring enjoy one or more pleasant days with a variety of different things to do and see. Experienced staff from the Riederwald adventure playground have organised the service and will look after the children between 08.30 and 18.30 hrs from 3 to 8 July. The varied and interesting programme includes two design workshops for children, a musical on the origins of porcelain, visits to Hesse Radio, the Palm Garden, Frankfurt Zoo Senckenberg Natural History Museum, the 'Mathematikum' in Giessen, 'Kelterei Heil' fruit crushing plant and an indoor climbing wall in Bensheim, as well as an exciting assessment rally in the Kids World product segment. The child-care programme can be booked on single days or for the duration of the fair. The number of participants is limited. Wireless access is via vouchers, which can be purchased from vending machines at the entrance areas of the fair. The only prerequisite is, of course, that the notebook, PC or PDA be fitted with a standard W-LAN card. Vouchers cost between € 12.50 (90 minutes) and € 49 (all day). The 'Messe Frankfurt against Copying' campaign offers exhibitors and visitors a variety of facilities and services including the opportunity to find out about the protection available for their products and how to enforce it. The benefits are to be seen in the combination of, on the one hand, a presentation for a limited period at the fair and, on the other hand, a product platform on the internet that is open the whole year round. At present, around 26,000 suppliers and their products can be found on Productpilot. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
