| The Queensland Home Garden Expo More than 20,000 people will attend this year's 24 th Queensland Home Garden Expo, one of the largest garden events in Australia, which will be held at the Maroochy Showgrounds on the Sunshine Coast from 11-13 July. The three-day expo attracts hundreds of horticultural experts who will be on hand to provide information and advice including free lectures; demonstrations and workshops hosted live on five different stages. The attractions are abundant and include full-sized landscape gardens designed by leading landscapers and designers, an Organic Kitchen Garden including a totally organic food court and fantastic floral arrangements by more than 12 different garden societies. The Expo will also showcase the latest in garden tools, books, accessories, garden art and more available each day. Event Manager, Marion Beazley says the Expo will feature more than 350 exhibitors with plant exhibitors having nearly 40,000 quality and new release plants available for sale daily. "The annual Qld Home Garden Expo is one of the most celebrated garden expos in Australia, each year it proves such a success and is enjoyed by everyone who attends, " said Marion . "This year we anticipate the release of several new plant varieties which is exciting for the horticulture enthusiasts, and the diverse range of exhibitors will ensure there is something for everyone." The Expo provides a festival atmosphere offering a fabulous array of food stalls surrounded by shaded seating, free entertainment such as stilt walkers, street performers and musicians and a free children's playground.
