| International Group Leisure & Travel Show Exhibition organisers, YPL Exhibitions report that it is very pleased with the response to the recently announced rebrand of the International Group Leisure & Travel Show, which now becomes the Group Leisure & Travel Trade Show. The exhibition, which is the biggest trade show for the industry staged at the NEC Birmingham, will open its doors over the two days of 24th and 25th September 2008. Peter Squires of Travelsphere was typical of many exhibitors with his comments: "We are once again very much looking forward to the Group Leisure & Travel Trade Show this year. It is always a first class, well organised and professional event, which has proved to be a great place to meet both existing and new customers. Travelsphere has supported the show since the very beginning 12 years ago and have never missed it – an ideal place for group organisers and tour operators to do business." Show organiser Emma Cash commented: "We of course knew that our established show already attracts many from the travel trade, which can be confirmed from our visitor figures, as displayed on our website; our target now is to strengthen these figures further through a focussed and extensive marketing campaign, using all the leading media in the group travel, coach tourism and the travel trade market." Cash continues: "Exhibitors continue to book their stands in volume and we are well over 70 per cent sold already, and heading for a sell out event. We are welcoming new exhibitors to the show every day and I know this means visitors will find everything they need at Britain's best international show for groups, coach touring and the travel trade market." Helen Mulry of Warner Leisure Hotels was equally enthusiastic: "The show is an excellent way to communicate with group travel organisers, coach operators and the wider travel trade. We also provide some entertainment on the show stage over the two days, so visitors can get a typical flavour of some of the superb entertainment which guests at a Warner Leisure Hotel can expect. We enjoy a high level of involvement and are really looking forward to a successful show again this September." write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
