| REW İstanbul 2008 REW İstanbul 2008, the 4th International Recycling, Environmental Technologies and Waste Management Fair -the biggest environmental technologies fair within Turkey- shall meet with professionals both from public and private sectors on June 19-22, 2008. REW İstanbul, which was originally held in 2005 and which currently goes on to meet a significant lack for our country as well as the region, has introduced state-of-the-art products and services on Recycling, Environmental Technologies and Waste Management; furthermore, has enabled basic function including but not limited to discussion of novel ideas and developments and, gathered together in-field companies, thus, contributed to the efforts of becoming a sector. REW İstanbul, achieved "International" title within 4th year thereof, take major steps to become the most significant event not only of our country but also an area of 700 million people which covers regional companies. Within 2007, more than one tenth of REW İstanbul visitors were foreign professionals. This figure should not only be considered as a statistical data since it allowed reaching to an important abroad business capacity. REW İstanbul leads to generation of solutions both for Turkey and close locations by bringing together the products and technologies on recycling, environmental technologies and waste management exhibited by participants from developed countries, with domestic companies. With this regard, the event takes into account the importance of numerous matchmaking programmes, product and service introductions through panels and conferences as well as data exchange. Based on our records for REW İstanbul 2008, Bavarian State and South Korea stands further to various countries have been confirmed. These participations also prove the reputation REW İstanbul and our country have gained globally. REW İstanbul, via wide range of events by collaborations launched last year and established thereafter, shall again in 2008 undersign outstanding activities on recycling, environmental technologies and waste management. Workshops to be held with national and international associations, environmental organizations, municipalities and municipality associations, shall constitute the discussion ground for introduction of innovations and developments to both professionals and to visitors.
