Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) 2008

Gaming industry professionals attending Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) 2008 this year will benefit from an extra day of expert-led conference sessions examining crucial issues in the Asian gaming markets. Following last year's successful debut of G2E Asia, which included a two-day conference program, G2E Asia 2008 will now provide gaming industry professionals with three full days of conference content in a new multi-track structure. G2E Asia 2008, the premier trade show and conference event dedicated to the Asian gaming markets, will be held June 4-5 with the G2E Asia conference June 3-5 at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center at the Venetian Macao.

"More than 3,000 gaming professionals from around the world attended the inaugural G2E Asia to expand their professional knowledge and build their understanding of the latest products, services and trends in the gaming industry, " said Frank J. Fahrenkopf Jr., president and CEO of the American Gaming Association. "By providing an extra day of conference content and a more diversified program, G2E Asia 2008 will provide gaming professionals with increased opportunities to learn from the industry's leading figures and discover how to maximize their success in the Asian markets."

The expanded conference will feature high-quality conference content on the latest issues and trends in the Asian gaming markets in a new multi-track structure, which will organize conference sessions based on their topic areas. The eight distinct conference tracks will address several critical aspects of the gaming industry, including Asian Markets, Casino Design, Corporate Social Responsibility, the Gaming Floor, iGaming, Macau, and Security and Surveillance. An additional Wild Card conference track will highlight important topics not covered by the other conference tracks.

G2E Asia 2008 also will feature the G2E Asia Signature Series. The seven Signature Series conference sessions represent the "must-attend" sessions in each track. The Signature Series sessions for G2E Asia 2008 include: Asian Markets – "Regional Overview: Singapore"; Casino Design – "Building Excitement: Asian Style"; Corporate Social Responsibility – "Problem Gambling 101: The Real Science"; Gaming Floor – "Sales Solutions: The Slot Vendors Roundtable"; Macau – "The Labor Pool: Training, Educating and Calibrating"; Marketing – "The Multiple Faces of Asia: Why All Players Aren't the Same"; Security & Surveillance – "Bad News, Good News: Learn from the Cheats".

In addition, G2E Asia 2008 will mark the debut of the G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program, a new one-day workshop being produced in partnership with the University of Macau and the University of Nevada Las Vegas Singapore campus. The program will offer professional development sessions specifically designed to address the subjects and trends that are most crucial to success in today's competitive gaming marketplace. Scheduled for June 3, the G2E Gaming Management Certificate program also will include networking opportunities and a keynote luncheon.
