| Natural and Organic Products Europe Europe's show for the natural and organic trade is set to break more records as Natural and Organic Products Europe celebrates its twelfth year on 13-14 April. The biggest event of its kind saw 8, 500 attendees in 2007 and growing numbers for this year reflect the huge interest in organic food, beauty, clothing and textiles, all on show alongside thousands of natural health products. As well as a key networking event, both visitors, buyers and retailers will meet more than 600 exhibitors and hear over 40 speakers over two days at London's Olympia. Two new pavilions for Natural Beauty and Clothing and Textile represent the fast growth and consumer demand in these sectors, with eleven more dedicated pavilions home to exhibitors from as far afield as Australia and Malaysia. Event Director, Simon Barry, thinks a combination of factors is driving the current boom, including a growing trend for people to take charge of their personal health, coupled with a rising interest in natural beauty and fashion, concerns about fair trade and ethical business, and a deepening interest in sustainable farming and ways of avoiding exposure to pesticides, food additives and growth hormones. A packed seminar programme will host some of the industry's most influential names, including television's Gillian McKeith, Janey Lee Grace, Patrick Holford, Jack Challem and triathlete Brandan Brazier. Celebrity chefs Antony Worrell Thompson, organic restaurant pioneer Barny Haughton and celebrated eco-chef Arthur Potts Dawson, from the ground breaking Acorn House restaurant will also be appearing at the show's new demonstration area. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
