| The 19th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition  The 19th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2008) - the largest and most influential event of its kind in Asia will be staged on 10 - 13 April 2008 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. The China Glass 2008 exhibition is larger than all its previous events and will cover all exhibition halls of the Exhibition Center. The China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass) was launched for the first time at Shanghai in 1986 by the Chinese Ceramic Society. During its development, it has been all along supported by all glass-related governmental departments and nationwide industrial associations of China, including the Chinese Building Materials Federation, China National Light Industry Council, China Machinery Industry Federation, China Association for Science and Technology, China National Association for Glass Industry and Chinese Architectural and Industrial Glass Association. Owing to uninterrupted innovation and development in the past two decades, China Glass has become a significant international glass exhibition as famous as glasstec held in Düsseldorf, Germany and VITRUM held in Milan, Italy, and serves as an exhibition platform of the largest scale and greatest commercial significance in the Chinese glass industry. China Glass 2008 is now extensively inviting exhibitors from the world over and flocks of companies have shown their extreme interests in attending this event due to the good reputation and brand effect of the exhibition. Germany, Italy, United States and Belgium have decided to send state exhibitors groups to participate in this event and their reserved booths will be notably larger than those at the previous one. Many companies which are internationally influential and famous have applied for their participation, such as Asahi, Saint Gobain, PPG, AGR, BH-F, Biebuyck, Vesuvius, Glasstech, DuPont, Bando, Grenzebach, Tamglass, Bavelloni, Bottero, Lisec, Edetech, SERP, RHI, Emhart, SORG, ZIPPE, Sekisui, ABB, as well as all famous Chinese glass companies and glass-related enterprises, including China Building Material Group, Yaohua, Luoyang Float Glass, China Southern Glass Holding Co. Ltd. China Triumph, China Glass Group, Jinjing Group, Fuyao, Taiwan Glass Group, Zhejiang Glass Group, Xingtai Jinniu Glass, and also some equipment manufacturers such as Luoyang North Glass Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Deway, Luoyang Mingte, Zhongshan Fushan, Yuntong Glass Mech-Electro Technology Co., Ltd., Suntech, Jinan Deca, Liaoning North Glass Machine Co., Ltd., Beijing Window Screen Printing, Dardi Watercutter, and so on. Over 90% of the old clients have decided to attend China Glass 2008 and many of them wanted to enlarge their booths since they have benefited very mach from this exhibition. The exhibition space that the organizer originally rented from the Exhibition Center had been entirely reserved by exhibitors during the exhibitor-inviting period, which is even shorter than a month, so the organizer had to require more space again and again. So far, all the 10 halls of the Exhibition Center are allocated for China Glass 2008. It is anticipated that the 19th China Glass International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition will attract more than 700 companies both from abroad and at home and the exhibition area will reach 53,000 sqm.
