QSR magazine, a publication for executives and operators in the food service industry, has announced the final program for the Fifth Annual Dine America Executive Idea Exchange conference, April 6th - 8th at the Hilton Americas-Houston, in Houston, Texas.

Each year, the Dine America conference consists of two days of expert-led presentations and working sessions focused on issues pertinent to the restaurant industry. This year's program will include a presentation by Dr. Jerry Newman, author of My Secret Life on the McJob, a look at managerial practices in fast-food restaurants. Dr. Newman is a SUNY Distinguished Professor at SUNY Buffalo, and his book was recently named as one of the best books of 2007 by the Wall Street Journal.

Also speaking at this year's event is Teresa Siriani, the president of People Report, a provider of human resource metrics, benchmarks, trends and best people practices for the foodservice industry. Teresa's career has included positions in operations, training and development, and human resources for Puck, Peasant Group, and Restaurants Unlimited.

As a special Tuesday Keynote, Dine America will have a presentation from Kendra Hatcher King, noted marketing maven and Senior Vice President of Consumer Context Planning for MediaVest, USA. King has worked with companies such as American Airlines, Bellsouth, Reebok International, Kellogg's and Miller Brewing Company.

Dine America is an annual conference with an exclusive attendance. It is the one industry event where food service leaders can exchange ideas and strategies in an intimate atmosphere. Now in its fifth year, Dine America is recognized by industry leaders as one of the most important business conferences for restaurant executives and operators.
