The Exhibition on Road and Water Transport Technology

Following the successful launch of Intertraffic China, which was held from 15 to 17 March 2007 in the Beijing Exhibition Centre, the show will make a swift return in 2008. The second edition of Intertraffic China will therefore take place in conjunction with the ninth International Exhibition on Road and Water Transport Technology and Equipment (China Transpo 2008) from 24 to 26 April 2008 in the Beijing Exhibition Centre.

China is experiencing tremendous economic growth, with over 20,000 kilometres of expressway being constructed between 2004 and 2010. By the end of this period, China will have a total of 2.3 million kilometres of national highway.

These figures testify to the major opportunities available to companies exhibiting at Intertraffic China. And this is reinforced by the fact that foreign investment in road construction is particularly encouraged by the Chinese government. The success enjoyed by international exhibitors at Intertraffic China 2007 confirms this development.

All 12 halls of the Beijing Exhibition Centre and the outdoor exhibit area will be entirely occupied by Intertraffic China and China Transpo. A comprehensive seminar programme will run alongside the trade shows.
