International Vision Expo East

BizBash, the leading trade magazine for the event industry, named International Vision Expo East as one of the top 100 Annual Events in New York in its latest issue. International Vision Expo East, co-owned by Reed Exhibitions and the Vision Council of America, came in eighth in the Trade Show and Conventions category. International Vision Expo East will be held April 10-13 this year at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. International Vision Expo East was chosen out of the over 130,000 events held annually in New York by consensus opinions from experts, as well as the BizBash editorial team. The events featured in the magazine are described as the "trade shows, conferences, dinner and award shows that make New York happen."

"We are thrilled to be selected as one of the top 100 events in New York City, " said Tom Loughran, event director at Reed Exhibitions. "Everything from our outstanding continuing education program to our exciting show floor makes the show a success and it's great to be recognized."

In its listing, BizBash notes that International Vision Expo brings thousands of eyecare professionals to New York City each year and occupies almost 250,000 square feet of exhibit space.

"International Vision Expo continues to make significant investments in the event to ensure that both attendees and exhibitors have an unparalleled show experience. We are committed to maintaining that level of excellence and have some exciting new technology previewing at this years show, " noted Deborah Malakoff, vice president of trade shows at the Vision Council of America.
