The National ADA Symposium

The National ADA Symposium will be held May 12-14 at the America's Center in St. Louis, MO. This three day event brings together nationally recognized experts to conduct dynamic, interactive trainings in an environment that encourages networking and group problem-solving. The National ADA Symposium will also feature an exposition hall filled with the latest disability-related products and services as well as an extensive Assistive Technology Fair. This year, the DBTAC-ADA Centers are proud to announce the U.S. Access Board will hold a town meeting in conjunction with the ADA Symposium.

Symposium attendees will have the unique opportunity to participate in the town meeting and give feedback and recommendations that will be used to formulate future federal policy. Airport access will be the focus of the town meeting along with a general presentation by the U.S. Access Board.

The National ADA Symposium 2008 offers an extensive workshop schedule The workshop schedule consists of 49 break-out sessions covering all aspects of the American with Disabilities Act and related laws. Presenters represent the key agencies involved in the ADA: the U.S. Dept. of Justice, EEOC and U.S. Access Board, and nationally recognized experts in the ADA.

The National ADA Symposium & EXPO is highly recommended for ADA Coordinators, city and county government officials, Centers for Independent Living staff, business owners, human resource professionals, employers, service providers, architects, building code officials, attorneys, people with disabilities and family members, advocates, disability organization staffs.
