From 27th to 29th March, in Rome, there will be the most exhaustive event about research, applications and space services: telecommunication, observation of the hearth, navigation, e-health. SAT Expo Europe, held at the New Rome Fair, will be organised in 4 main categories with different thematic areas: satellite and application for the territory, local authorities and institutions, telecommunications and broadcasting, e-Health. The aim of this event is to show that it is possible to create networks and integrated connectivity, flexible communication languages to realise the multiple channel technology, the study of the territory and also other integrated sectors for the care and the security of the systems.

These are all extraordinary commercial opportunities to increase networks and strategic infrastructures of communications that are indispensable in nowadays complex and advanced societies.

Paolo Dalla Chiara, President of SAT Expo, says "We put SAT Expo, one of the biggest European Expo-Forum about TLC via sat, in one of the most important Italian space district, where are also located ESRIN, ASI (Italian Space Agency), some space organisation, the main production unity of the space system and the Test Range Galileo. SAT Expo Europe in Rome will be the only big event about advanced TLC that will treat about exploration of the space, navigation, observation of the earth and their application perspectives on security, defence and also broadcasting, with particular attention on the increasing HD market and on advanced solutions for the Public Administration, as e-Health.

"For 50 years" - continues Mr. Dalla Chiara - "since the first launch of the Sputnik, the number of opportunities of business and research, targeted to both private and public sector, has increased. During these 50 years space applications became integral part of everyday life, as GPS navigation systems or Via SAT TV".
