The dates for the 2nd Automechanika Moscow, International Trade Exhibition Fair for Automotive Parts, Equipment and Service Suppli¬ers, have been fixed. The trade fair will open its doors from 4 to 6 March 2008 and, to comply with the wishes of the organisers - Messe Frankfurt and the ITE Group - as well as leading exhibitors, be held at Krasnaya Presnya Expocenter in the heart of Moscow. The 1st Auto¬mechanika Moscow ended on 16 May 2007 with highly satisfied faces all round. Around 200 exhibitors presented their products to over 5,000 trade visitors.

The organisers believe that Automechanika Moscow has the potential to become the most important trade fair for the aftersales market in Russia. Stephan Kurzawski, Head of the Automechanika Division: "The 1st Automechanika Moscow revealed the potential of the fair in the prosperous Russian market. In the future, we will do everything possible to exploit this opportunity. The decision to hold the fair at Krasnaya Presnya Expocenter was an important step."

Around 100 trade fairs with approximately 30,000 exhibitors are held at Krasnaya Presnya Expocenter every year. The exhibition centre has around 200,000 square metres of exhibition space (gross) and space for congresses, symposiums, press conferences and meetings in nine modern exhibition halls. Krasnaya Presnya Expocenter is easy to get to from the airport and has optimum links to Moscow 's public-transport network.

Automechanika Moscow is a joint event of Messe Frankfurt and ITE Group. The ITE Group has an established portfolio of successful fairs in Russia. With Automechanika Moscow, Messe Frankfurt has expanded its range of events for the automotive sector to a total of twelve Automechanika fairs.
