| Thomas Schlitt New Director of International Segment Thomas Schlitt, 46, is to take over the newly created position of Director Development Foreign Ventures at NürnbergMesse. He will report direct to Herta Krausmann, Director International at NürnbergMesse and Managing Director of Nürnberg Global Fairs. "Establishing our foreign exhibition business in 1999 was the strategic reaction of NürnbergMesse to the changing exhibition markets against the background of accelerating globalization of the flow of trade and goods. The development that has taken place since then confirms these initial considerations, " says Krausmann. The company earned some six million euros abroad in the business year 2007. This means foreign exhibition business has a share of some five per cent of the total turnover of 123 million euros generated last year. Foreign business is to grow to almost eight million euros in 2008. Nürnberg Global Fairs with its headquarters in Nürnberg and worldwide exhibition activities has contributed the lion's share of this until now, but the newly founded NürnbergMesse China and NürnbergMesse North America are developing promisingly. Before joining NürnbergMesse, Schlitt worked as Exhibition Director International Exhibitions in the New Technologies Business Unit at Messe München.
