| Feria Valencia and Reed Exhibitions Agree To Launch Two Trade Fairs Feria Valencia and Reed Exhibitions Iberia have reached a collaboration agreement according to which the Valencian trade fair institution will host two new exhibitions beginning in 2009. This is the first agreement between Feria Valencia and an outside organiser for the celebration of events at the organisation's exhibition facilities. The fruits of this agreement will be seen in 2009, at which time two new trade fairs will be launched at Feria Valencia, each organised in a different manner. The first of these will be an event devoted to sports facilities, equipment and gear, in which Reed Exhibitions and Feria Valencia will share management. The second will be an exhibition focused on professional cleaning, for which Feria Valencia will rent the exhibition space and Reed Exhibitions will be in charge of organising and marketing the event. The agreement signing ceremony took place this past Thursday 7th at the Feria Valencia facilities. Representing the two companies at the signing were the president of Feria Valencia, Alberto Catalá, and Francisco Carrió, general manager of Reed Exhibitions. Josep Pinent, a key promoter of the industrial hygiene exhibition and president of the industry association ASFEL, also took part in the signing ceremony for this event. During the ceremony, the head of Reed Exhibitions Iberia, Francisco Carrió conveyed his company's satisfaction with the agreement, and expressed his hope that this will mark the beginning of a long and robust collaboration, while Alberto Catalá, president of Feria Valencia, transmitted his confidence in the new era being initiated thanks to the agreement.
