| Innovation in The Food And Beverage Industry at Innoval 2008 Finding solutions for the food and beverage industry's greatest challenges is one of the International Food and Beverage Exhibition's main objectives. Conceived as an ambitious project nearly a decade ago, Innoval - Alimentaria's area for innovation - is now an unparalleled global point of reference within the industry for R&D&I. In addition to presenting the most innovative products of the last two years, Innoval 2008 will showcase some of the developments in the retail sector aimed at meeting the needs of future buyers. In addition to presenting the most cutting-edge products, Innoval – Alimentaria's Area for Innovation – intends to go much further at the 2008 edition. By means of the Innoval Future Shop project, Alimentaria will signal the path that the retail sector may follow in order to adapt to the wishes and needs of future buyers. Additionally, the sixth edition of Innoval will once again showcase hundreds of new products selected for their qualities of comfort, healthiness, pleasure and convenience. Cutting-edge ideas and design are put at the industry's service at Innoval thanks to an elaborate set developed by designers Pati Núñez and Toni Arola, both past winners of the National Design Award. Innoval is an exceptional showcase which reflects both the food and beverage industry's dynamic nature and the great efforts invested in research and progress. Here, Alimentaria functions as a true centre of support for brands, providing insight into quality and security and bringing together the leaders of agri-food production. Investment in R&D&I is a key factor in competitiveness. In Spain, domestic spending on research grows by 14% each year, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE). write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
