It's official, BeautyAsia - the region's most established annual beauty and wellness trade exhibition - is returning to Suntec Singapore on 25-27 February 2008, for the 12th consecutive year. Recognising Asia's beauty industry that is worth over $20 billion, the three-day beauty extravaganza will showcase some of the industry's most cutting-edge products, recognise new trends and introduce experts as well as leading beauty technologies from around the world.Asia is a hot bed for the beauty industry and as such, the exhibition will incorporate three distinct but growing industry sectors in the region - HealthAsia, NaturalAsia and SpaAsia - all under the umbrella of BeautyAsia 2008.
As with previous years, BeautyAsia, HealthAsia and SpaAsia continue to attract key professionals and showcase latest innovations from their respective industries. NaturalAsia is making a comeback following its successful debut last year, with an aim to increase awareness of organic wellness. Its visitors will be sampled organic foods and skincare products to naturopathic and ayurvedic therapies.
"BeautyAsia is an excellent platform to reach out to decision makers in the beauty industry across Asia Pacific, which accounts for 40 per cent of the global beauty marketplace. We have the reputation for not only attracting but being the best and therefore, we are confident that our 12th annual exhibition next year will deliver as much as a 20 per cent growth in footfall."
As well as showcasing the best products and services the industry has to offer, the 2008 exhibition will be the host of NailsAsia Singapore – the industry's most prestigious international nail art competition. Introduced at BeautyAsia 2007, the competition attracted over 40 participants across Asia and showcased extraordinary and intricate nail adornments by some of Asia's most talented nail artists and manicurists. To be held on 26 February 2008, the competition is set to be just as tough for the panel of judges as with last year's.
Visitors to the show can also look forward to a series of activities, including interactive beauty and hair workshops, product demonstrations and engaging talks by industry experts. One leading exhibitor, Aesthetics Marketing Asia, has invited a special guest massage instructor from Italy to take participants on a journey through "Olos Territoria" to discover the essence of plants and the art of massage.
