| GlobalConnect Selects Integrated BroadSoft-Rodopi Solution Rodopi Software, a provider of billing and provisioning for broadband services, and BroadSoft Inc., a provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) application software, announced today that Global Connect A/S, a Danish telecom provider of fiber-optics-based services in Northern Europe, has chosen a BroadSoft-Rodopi integrated solution to provide wholesale and retail VoIP services throughout Denmark and parts of Sweden and Germany. Rodopi OSS provisions and bills GlobalConnect's offerings – Hosted PBX, SIP Trunking and white-label retail VoIP – all delivered on the latest version of BroadSoft's BroadWorks application platform. GlobalConnect provides carrier-class network infrastructure solutions for the communications industry, large enterprises, government agencies and resellers. The company offers carrier-class connectivity throughout Denmark, western Sweden and northern Germany, making it the preferred alternative to the established national telecom companies in the region. Using BroadWorks, fully managed and automated by Rodopi OSS and personalized customer portals, GlobalConnect will manage and automate its IP wholesale, SIP Trunking and Class 5 services.
