| RSA® Conference RSA Conference announced that executives from the security industry's leading companies have been added to the keynote speaker lineup for RSA Conference 2008 – taking place from April 7-11, 2008, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. This robust collection of thought-provoking speakers will share their thoughts and insights on the exciting next chapters of the security industry. This prestigious group of executives will join best-selling author and journalist Malcolm Gladwell as keynote presenters at RSA Conference 2008. As previously announced, Gladwell will explore the research he conducted for his acclaimed books and focus on the study of social dynamics and human behavior. The rest of the lineup spans the gamut of organizational structure – including company founders, researchers, managers, architects, strategists, board chairmen, vice presidents and chief executive officers. Among the 10 newly announced keynote speakers is Craig Mundie, chief research and strategy officer of Microsoft. Mundie works closely with Bill Gates to assume responsibility for the company's research and incubation efforts, in anticipation of Gates' departure from a day-to-day role in Microsoft beginning in July 2008. Arthur W. Coviello Jr. – executive vice president of EMC Corp. and president of RSA, The Security Division of EMC – brings a breadth of industry experience to the conference. Coviello is responsible for RSA's strategy and dailyperations as it delivers EMC's global vision of information-centric security. He joined RSA in 1995 and was a driving force in its rapid growth, establishing it as the de facto standard for two-factor authentication and encryption, as well as shepherding its merger with EMC Corp. in 2006. John W. Thompson, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Symantec Corp, will also present at RSA Conference 2008. Under his leadership, Symantec has grown to become a global leader in infrastructure software.
