| All Candy Expo ![]() "We added over 130 new exhibiting companies in 2007 and the debut of the Gourmet Marketplace became one of the hottest spots on the show floor, the date change is only another positive that will help us continue to grow, " said NCA President Graham. By welcoming snack and cookie companies to exhibit for the first time in 2007, the EXPO's exhibitor base increased by nearly 15 percent. NCA research indicated that the majority of buyers surveyed purchase both snacks and confectionery products. Confectionery products along with the newly-added snack and cookie categories make up a $70 billion industry in the U.S., so the EXPO offers even more ways that attendees can improve their buying efficiencies. Another major bonus for future visitors to the EXPO is that it will remain in the ultra-convenient and attendee-friendly West Building of McCormick Place that it debuted in this past fall. The National Confectioners Association is working closely with McCormick Place, the Chicago Convention and Visitors Bureau and key members of the confectionery industry to insure that the change in dates goes seamlessly for attendees and exhibitors. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Exhibition News :: home page |
