Exhibitors Flock To Rebook For Aircraft Interiors Expo 2008

Less than five months out from Aircraft Interiors Expo 2008 the exhibition is already 98% sold out. Added to this good news, 91% of exhibitors are companies that have rebooked after the success of the 2007 event.

Aircraft Interiors Expo takes place from 1-3 April 2008 at the Hamburg Messe in Germany. This is the largest dedicated aircraft interiors event in the world and will see companies exhibiting the full spectrum of technologies and products for airline constructors and operators.

All sectors of the interiors industry will be featured, with major players such as B/E Aerospace, Airbus KID Systeme GmbH and Hanse Aerospace presenting their latest technologies. Increasingly in the spotlight is catering equipment, with the leading branded equipment supplier deSter NV making its debut at the show.

Running alongside the event again this year are the Crystal Cabin Awards, which enjoyed a successful inaugural event last year. The award recognises innovation in comfort and health; entertainment and communication; environmental; future concepts and industrial design; technical components; and safety and security. The deadline for entries to this award scheme is the end of November.

Last year's Aircraft Interiors Expo set a new record for the show as 11,700 visitors thronged the newly constructed halls of the Hamburg Messe. The event attracted a total of 560 exhibitors and visitors from 75 countries including representatives of more than 100 airlines with interest in the first, business, economy class and budget sectors.
