The participants will also be given a glimpse into the world of business in China. A reception at the German embassy will also provide a further opportunity to discuss the Chinese market with local businessmen and to make new contacts.

The visitors taking part in the business trip will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with representatives of German, Chinese and other international exhibitors during the "Exhibitor Evening" at the opening of electronica & ProductronicaChina 2008.

Their booths will be visited by many local business people in the industry who consider electronica & ProductronicaChina and LASER. World of Photonics China, an event to be held at the same time in SNIEC by Messe München, as the top annual meeting for their industry. Last year, electronica & ProductronicaChina 2007 set a new record by attracting around 23,500 visitors to the event.

A company visit on March 20, 2008 will round off the information program for the trip and will provide information on the business and production processes of an international electronics company based in the Shanghai region.

Those taking part in the trip who would also like to use it as an opportunity to get to know potential Chinese business partners have the option of participating in a cooperation event entitled "Germany meets China".

Based on a profile that the participating companies will produce for a potential Chinese business partner, regional companies will be approached directly and invited to take part in face-to-face meetings. Messe München is offering this service in cooperation with the company intec.net, the network for international technological cooperation.
