| International Digital Film Forum IDIFF (International Digital Film Forum), the tradeshow for cinema professionals will be held from January the 30th to February 1st 2008 in Paris (Palais des Congrès in Paris). It will give every actor of the cinema industry the opportunity to uncover the impact of digital technologies on their professions. With "The next generation theatre" workshop, situated on the heart of the tradeshow, the 2008 edition of IDIFF is primarily focused on theatrical management. It will present the different areas of a cinema equipped with existing or future digital technologies. Exhibitors attending IDIFF will be able to test the various equipment and to take part in demonstrations in order to accurately identify how they will benefit from digital in their cinemas. In addition, extracts of films, which will be available in digital in the months following IDIFF will make it possible for them to consider digital programming in their cinemas. In parallel with these workshops, an entire day of conference will be dedicated to the exhibition industry involving in particular many feedbacks on the daily management of a digitally equipped cinema.
